Involvement, engagement and participation are the cornerstones of our work

Everyone has the right to enjoy cultural activities. Which is why the Museum does not charge an admission fee and why most of our events are free of charge.

For us, collaboration is not just a matter of free entry, but getting people involved in planning and doing, facilitating various activities and sharing the Museum resources – museum work done to promote mutual understanding.

For ethnographic museums, collaboration also means that we are aware of the links between museum institutions and colonialism and the imbalance of power. We are actively involved with the originating communities, the people who are the true holders of the Collection.
