How can we build on our common European value base? What memories are commonly shared by people from different parts of Europe? How can such memories be used in adult education?

With four other European institutions, the Helinä Rautavaara Museum took part in an Erasmus+ project called Connecting Memories: The Power of the Past and the Future of Europe.

The project, realised during 2017–2019, was coordinated by Weltgewandt. Institut für interkulturelle politische Bildung. Other partners were Asociacion Malaguena de Educacion y Formacion Europea, Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Lodzi and Pistes Solidairs Medeteranee.
